Meeting of Local Early Childhood Educators

I convened a meeting of local early childhood educators at my electorate office, so they could speak to me and to my visiting colleague Angie Bell MP, the Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education.

I was very pleased that so many came along to speak to us. 

We heard about a range of issues, including workforce issues, a spike in red tape and the cost of living forcing centres to pass on costs to parents and carers.  It was great to see the passion and commitment of the attendees – they really care about giving our youngest Australians the best possible start in life!
