Drive Through NorthConnex

I joined Prime Minister Scott Morrison (ScoMo) and Premier Gladys Berejiklian in the first end to end drive through of NorthConnex, the 9 kilometre freeway standard tunnel running from the M1 at Wahroonga to the M2 at Pennant Hills.

NorthConnex is a joint initiative of the Morrison and Berejiklian Governments, funded with a $412.3 million and $577.3 million commitment respectively.

When NorthConnex opens – likely in two to three months – it will see 5,000 trucks and buses redirected off key arterial roads in the area, reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.
