Reply from IOC President Jacques Rogge
On June 26, the House of Representatives passed my private member’s motion calling for a minute’s silence at the London Olympics in honour of the victims of the 1972 terrorist attack at the Munich Olympics. I subsequently wrote to IOC President Jacques Rogge to inform him of the motion. He has now replied. A copy of my letter (written jointly with the motion’s seconder, Josh Frydenberg MP) and Mr Rogge’s response can be found below.
