Media Release - Fletcher announces $66,000 to back Bradfield volunteers

Twenty-one local volunteer groups in the electorate of Bradfield will share in over $66,000 of funding under the Volunteer Grants program.

“Volunteers are the mortar that binds our community together. These grants will assist the recipient organisations to continue their great work and offer even better services to the people of the Bradfield electorate,” Mr Fletcher said.

“From Hornsby Parkinson’s Association in the north to Chatswood Rugby Club to the south, these volunteer grants provide funding for organisations across our community, organisations that are run by dedicated and selfless Australians.

“While the twenty-one organisations are diverse, they are all driven by the same goal - to assist their community and make it a better place.

“I congratulate all the recipients of these grants and wish them every success in the great work they continue to do for our community,” Mr Fletcher said.
