Joint Media Release: $150,000 for Stronger Communities in Bradfield

The Morrison Government has allocated $150,000 to fund up to 20 local community infrastructure projects across the electorate of Bradfield, with the projects to be chosen through a competitive selection process.

Federal Member for Bradfield Paul Fletcher said this funding for Round 5 of the Stronger Communities Program builds on the success of earlier rounds.

“Grants under the Stronger Communities Program will fund projects that bring our communities together, strengthen social connections, build community participation and create vibrant and viable communities into the future,” Mr Fletcher said.

“The benefits of these projects will include strengthening social connections and building community participation, making this a major win for the entire community.”

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development Michael McCormack said the Stronger Communities Programme was aimed at funding projects that deliver social benefits as part of the Government’s continuing commitment to strengthen communities across Australia.
