Fletcher Congratulates Bradfield Olympians

Paul Fletcher, Federal Member for Bradfield today extended his congratulations to the Bradfield Olympians returning home from the London 2012 Olympic Games today.

Nick Purnell, who represented Australia in the men’s eight rowing and Vivian Tan, who competed in the women’s table tennis were a part of a group of over 400 athletes who competed in this year’s games.

‘I congratulate Nick and Vivian on representing their country’, Mr Fletcher said.

‘What Nick and Vivian have achieved is something quite extraordinary – and something that will stay with them for the rest of their lives’.

Mr Fletcher said he had written to both athletes to express his congratulations and gratitude for their efforts.
