Bradfield Bushcare’s Major Day Out

Paul Fletcher, Member for Bradfield today called on Bradfield residents to participate in this year’s “Bushcare Major Day Out” being conducted across Bradfield on Sunday September 9.

‘Bushcare’s Major Day Out is a day specifically designed to give the wider community the opportunity to find out what is being done by Bush Care, Street Care and Land Care Groups around the local area, as well as learn more about how we can all do our bit to preserve our local bushland’, Mr Fletcher said today.

‘Bushcare groups around Bradfield do outstanding work in regenerating and maintaining the bushland that is a defining feature of our part of Sydney’.

‘After visiting local Bushcare groups around my electorate, I have seen for myself how much work is required in ensuring our bushland is properly cared for, and the great work our local volunteer Bushcare groups do in restoring the bush to its natural state’.

‘I encourage people in Bradfield to take a little time this Sunday to visit their local Bush Care group that is participating in the Major Day Out and find out what they are doing for their local area’.
