Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for NorthConnex

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for NorthConnex has now been released for public exhibition. This is a significant milestone for the project, and is an important part of the community consultation for NorthConnex.

Residents interested in finding out more should visit www.northconnex.com.au, where you can read the EIS and other information. You can also visit the NorthConnex Centre at 354-356 Pennant Hills Road, Pennant Hills (open Monday and Thursday 9am to 4pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm) or attend one of the community drop-in sessions.

If you are interested in hearing about what NorthConnex means for air quality, there is  a public forum on this topic being held shortly. The details are:

Tuesday 29th July 2014

7pm to 9pm

Hornsby RSL

4 High Street, Hornsby

At this forum, a panel of project and independent air quality specialists will deliver a presentation on air quality and explain the air quality assessment methodology and key findings as described in the EIS. The panel will then participate in a group forum question and answer session with the community.

NorthConnex is an exciting development for Bradfield, delivering faster and safer travel, better air quality and investment in the local community. As with all major developments community consultation is important, so don’t hesitate to have your say.
