| Liberal Campaign Office Open In Bradfield |
|
The campaign for the Bradfield by-election is well underway with the opening of the Campaign Office for Liberal candidate, Paul Fletcher. The office is located at 315 Pacific Highway Lindfield. “I am delighted that we have found such a visible location – and one which is so easy to get to,” said Mr Fletcher. “We are just near Lindfield Station – so it is easy for people to drop in and say hello.” “If I’m not at a community meeting or visiting people around the electorate, chances are you’ll find me in the Campaign Office. “So if anybody in Bradfield wants to raise an issue with me, call or visit the Office.” “Since being pre-selected as the Liberal candidate, I have been busy meeting with community groups, residents and the local Mayors.” “Residents will also be receiving an introductory letter and survey from me over the coming days.” “I want to know what the people of Bradfield think about such issues as: Labor’s extraordinary explosion of spending and debt – creating a future tax burden which will fall heavily on the people of Bradfield; Labor’s changes to superannuation rules which make it harder for people to provide for their retirement years; Labor’s attempts to weaken private health insurance – which will increase the burden on our public hospital system; the state of our hospitals; and over-development in the area.” “I encourage people to fill in the survey and return it, or alternatively they can complete it on-line at www.liberalsforbradfield.com.au “It is my job to be a strong advocate for the community of Bradfield. I have already received a lot of useful feedback from the many Bradfield residents I have met. “With the survey I can build on that – to capture the concerns and issues which people in Bradfield want their future federal representative to raise,” Mr Fletcher. |
