What a day at the Hornsby RSL! It was a long but rewarding process to be selected by the local Liberal Party members and delegates, as their candidate for the seat of Bradfield. First of all, I must pay tribute to the other candidates who nominated. It was an impressive group of people and I feel honoured to have been chosen. Thanks to Brendan Nelson for his support on the night as well. I know my wife Manuela also appreciated having Brendan’s wife Gillian by her side. Now the campaigning begins, getting around the electorate talking with people about the local issues. Brendan has already been extremely helpful with his words of wisdom and I look forward to working with him in the lead up to the by-election. |
